| The Bloomsburg University Office of Technology is responsible for providing technology services, resources, training and information to all members of the university community. | |
| The Need: | |
| Faculty members at Bloomsburg University are given web space (a facstaff site) on the university server to create a course website where students can go to find course materials and announcements for their classes. Some faculty members are web savvy and know how to publish to their facstaff sites. However, most faculty members are not familiar with the process and need to be trained on how to publish to their facstaff site. | |
| The Opportunity: | |
| While working for the Office of Technology, I provided web support to many faculty and staff members. I found the most common problem to be a lack of knowledge when it came to publishing their facstaff sites. I identified an opportunity to provide the faculty members with a way to teach themselves and at their own pace how to publish to their facstaff accounts. | |
